Northern Plains Contracting was founded in October 2024 by Garrett Cook, Ryan Rozak, and Curtis Hawrelko, who wanted to bring their skills closer to home after spending time working away. Motivated to make a difference locally, they started Northern Plains with a commitment to delivering top-notch service on every project.
Our Team
Northern Plains Contracting brings a diverse and specialized skill set to every project, backed by hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation—a key reason we launched our contracting company. Garrett is a journeyman welder with expertise in B-pressure, tie-in welding on pipelines, and structural welding, ensuring top-quality metalwork. Ryan, a journeyman electrician, specializes in commissioning and start-up of oil and gas facilities, bringing technical depth and practical insight from his farming operations to our team. Curtis, a firefighter with extensive experience in emergency response and safety protocols, brings a strong focus on safety and preparedness. Together, we are a well-rounded team, managing every aspect of a project—from planning and construction to start-up and safety—ensuring that each job is completed with skill, precision, and care.
